No figure is typed twice. The trial balance, the profit and loss and the balance sheet are worked out from what the pump already entered, not from a second set of entries.
About us
PumpCoPilot is petrol pump management software made for dealers in India: the people who answer for every litre in the tank and every rupee in the drawer.
A petrol pump sells a great deal for a small margin. What is left at the end of the month depends on differences that look too small to chase on any one day: an attendant a hundred rupees short, a tank thirty litres under its books, a customer a fortnight late.
Most pumps already write all of this down. The shift sheet, the dip register, the credit book, the cash book and the bank passbook each hold a part of the day. What is missing is the sum: the same figure has to be copied from one register into the next before anyone can say what the day came to, and by then the shift that was short has gone home.
PumpCoPilot keeps those registers as one set of books. A closing reading is entered once, and the stock, the cash book, the customer's balance and the profit and loss all move with it.
What we hold to
No figure is typed twice. The trial balance, the profit and loss and the balance sheet are worked out from what the pump already entered, not from a second set of entries.
Every addition, change and deletion is logged with who made it and what it was before. A closed year stays closed, and reopening it leaves a mark.
It needs an internet connection. Messages need a provider's account. We would rather you heard that from us on this site than found it out after you started.
TODO: a note from the founder, in your own words. Who you are, where you are based, and what led you to build PumpCoPilot. Nothing has been written here for you, so that the page says nothing about you that isn't so.
